"I paint in a variety of styles, for every statement should be depicted as mood dictates. A painting should please the eye and awaken dormant senses inside the viewer. It should be confrontational." Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1954. Began painting in oils at age ten. Attended various art schools including the Cooper School of Art, Cleve and the St. Ives School of Painting in St. Ives, Cornwall, England. Worked as a tattoo artist, muralist, merchant marine and banquet chef at a private club. Wrote and illustrated children's book about Cleveland called "The Land the Cleves Built," and appeared on Channel 8's program 'Neighbourhood' which covered a one-man show. Group Shows One-Man Shows |
